Well, your answer to the cold summer doldrums might be right around the corner at Fort Mason Center, where the Merola Opera is romping about in fine Italian opera buffa disguises, kidnapping, loving, winning the girl, losing the guy, and going generally over the top in fine musical style, in Mozart’s lovely La Finta Giardiniera. One of his best early works, it bubbles with vitality and confidence, and under Nic Muni’s direction, with Gary Wedow at the podium, you’re sure to have a good time.
