“Levi Strauss: A History of American Style” featuring garments, advertisements, photographs, and ephemera in celebration of the birth of the blue jean and its evolution from workwear into iconic fashion wear; “Predicting the Past: Zohar Studios” an immersive photography installation and tribute to Shimmel Zohar, a mythical 19-century Jewish immigrant photographer; and “Threads of Jewish Life: Ritual and Other Textiles from the San Francisco Bay Area” showcasing a variety of textiles in use by San Francisco Jewish community members during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
