As part of California Governor Gavin Newsom’s whirlwind state trip to China to develop new working relations around Climate Change, the Bay Area Council hosted a California State Reception in Shanghai, China on October 28th honoring Governor Newsom’s efforts. The event was attended by Bay Area Partners and members and the California State Reception was hosted by Kevin Xu, Executive Board member of the Bay Area Council and Co-chair of APEC host committee which takes place in San Franciso this year. (Mr. Xu is also an investor in Street Media the parent company to the Marina Times.)
