UCSF Center of Excellence and McKinley Art Solutions feature the works of artists John Kraft, Valerie Scott, Elizabeth Kival Maffeo, Lucy Liew, and Roberta Ahrens as they explore the theme of serenity in art. Through narrative and color, these artists have created a thematic display promoting positive, uplifting energy and holistic wellness.
This quarterly juried exhibition is the largest continuous group show in the Bay Area inspiring relaxation and well-being. The volume of work featured by each contributor adds a uniquely personal touch. Curated by Matt McKinley, over 60 works cover five floors of the Women’s Health Center, one floor devoted to each artist and containing a complete body of work by each. Traditionally, group shows feature a small selection by each artist, but exposure to a large body of work will leave the viewer with a much greater understanding of each artist while taking in the calming ambience of this exhibition.
Recognized internationally for its comprehensive and specialized care relating to women’s health issues, UCSF Women’s Health Center is a fitting venue.
