The marina welcomed the Golden 1 credit Union in late January when the state’s largest credit union celebrated the opening of its newest branch.
Golden 1 kicked off a weeklong open house at 2298 Lombard Street with giveaways and specials at the new location. “We are very proud to open our newest branch office,” said Donna A. Bland, president and CEO of Golden 1.
She touted its location in the heart of the Marina District.
The celebration included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments, giveaways, a special checking account offer, and a donation by Golden 1 of $1,000 to Marina Middle School to be used for a school beautification project. The company has more than 80 branches in California, with more than 625,000 members and $7.9 billion in assets.
