In the 1980s, scientists around the world identified a massive decline in the ozone layer, which was attributed to the release of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) into the atmosphere. Since then, various measures have been taken to reduce the use of CFCs, which has sparked the question: Is the ozone layer really healing?
